Let's get offensive! With Yeti or Not, Here I Come!

Do you want to learn how to execute the perfect offence, be it on jam start, power jam or mid jam? How to switch from D to O and vice versa? How to help get quick lead for your jammer?

Anchor City Rollers and Avon River Rollers are hosting a special skills clinic taught by Yeti or Not, Here I come, on August 10. The clinic will be focused on offence.

Yeti (she/her) has been skating since 2015 when she started as a jammer with Twin State Derby in Vermont. After a brief stint in Santa Cruz, she joined Gotham in 2019 as a pivot where she helped the All-Stars win a silver medal at WFTDA Championships. Since then, Yeti has become co-head of coaching at Gotham and captain of the All-Stars. She also skates with Black Diaspora, coached Salaam Roller Derby and is co-captain for USA Roller Derby.

The clinic will be 11:30am-2:30pm on August 10 at 51 Forest Hills Parkway, Dartmouth, followed by a full-length advanced scrimmage.

VISITING SKATERS:

Cost is $60, or $15 if attending off-skates.

ACR LEAGUE MEMBERS:

Recommended cost is $40, with a sliding scale of $20-60. Off-skates attendance is $10.

This is a clinic for skaters age 16+ who play at an adult level. A junior clinic will be happening at 9am.
